The kids over at the Chicken Nugget Lemon Tooty blog have been sharing their illustrations now for 5 years! To celebrate their 5th anniversary, artists have been invited to contribute artwork based on one of the kid's drawings. I decided to create something based on Elijah's (age 4) panda.

I just completed a book with super-talented Slovenian author, Anja Kokalj. It's a really cute story about a little bear who gets a bicycle for his birthday. The book is actually in the Slovenian language, so they sent me an English translation of the story along with the Slovenian text. I really enjoyed working on this project. The book will be published sometime this winter-- I'll post more details as I have them.

August was a very busy month (projects, vacation, school starting, etc.), and I am so behind on catching up on my friends' blogs. Can't wait to see what everyone has been up to!
