Eric, what a different style for this week IF entry! The icon in IF sites looks so much like those "Golden Book" characters. and the full illustration just Simple marvelous, man! Keep drawing!
i really love the extremely limited palette. I have some of my parents 1950's children's books, and your style has a bit of a throwback to that. I love it!
Eric, Thanks for taking my poll. I think you are right, I don't have to choose a style.
I plan to focus on painting until I am more comfortable with that process, then I plan on practicing with photoshop/illustrator so that I can have both as options. Thanks for your feedback.
Also, I have added you to my side bar and my google reader so that I can keep up with your posts. You have a great blog!
I am tickled pink with your illustration. Love how she's just off the ground!
All the blog names I could think of were already taken, so at the end I just sat staring out the window trying to think of something original, and there, in the window, I have my old green telephone - eureka! :-)
Thanks for the insight on the name, GT! We used to have an avocado green phone in our kitchen back when I was growing up... it matched the appliances. :-)
Nice, I like the all pink palette.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I like to see how her feet are already up in the air. I like the monochrome, very sweet and simple.
